Chat Rules & Guidelines

Welcome to our chat platform! To ensure a professional, safe, and legally compliant environment, all users must follow these rules.

1️⃣ Public Groups Policy

  • There are only 3 public groups available for marketing and sales discussions.
  • Users cannot create new public groups.

2️⃣ Group Limitations

  • A user can participate in a maximum of 3 active chat groups at a time (including both public and private chats).
  • Example: You can have:
    • 1 private chat + 2 public groups, or
    • 3 public groups, or
    • 1 public group + 2 private chats.
  • If you reach the 3-group limit, you must leave/close one to join another.

3️⃣ Prohibited Content

🔹 Strictly prohibited in public and private chats:

  • Vulgar, offensive, or inappropriate language (e.g., sexual, threatening, racist, or abusive remarks).
  • Spamming or excessive self-promotion (sending repetitive messages, mass DMs, or disruptive content).
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment against any individual or group.

4️⃣ Private Chat Rules

  • Private chats are strictly one-on-one (max 2 users).
  • Private chats are not visible to other users.
  • To start a private chat, a user must send a request, and the recipient must accept before messaging begins.

5️⃣ Legal & Ethical Compliance (India-Specific)

🔹 Users must comply with all applicable Indian laws, including but not limited to:

  • The Information Technology (IT) Act, 2000 – Covers cybercrime, data security, and electronic transactions.
  • The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 – Covers misleading advertisements, deceptive sales, and financial fraud.
  • The Indian Penal Code (IPC) & Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) – Covers harassment, defamation, threats, and hate speech.
  • Users must not engage in illegal activities such as fraud, spam, impersonation, or spreading false/misleading information.
  • Any violation may be reported to law enforcement or relevant authorities.

6️⃣ Platform Purpose

  • This chat system is designed to facilitate sales, marketing, and real-time business communication.
  • Discussions should be professional, neutral, and beneficial to businesses and society.

7️⃣ Enforcement & Reporting

  • Users can report violations (spam, abuse, rule-breaking) using the spam reporting feature on the platform.
  • Reports will be reviewed by moderators, who will take action based on the severity.
  • The platform reserves the right to remove content or restrict access without prior notice if rules are violated.

8️⃣ Business Transactions Disclaimer

🔹 We do not guarantee the authenticity of business offers, deals, or transactions made through chat groups.

🔹 Users should verify details independently before making financial or business commitments.
